The Prince’s Keeper Walkthrough

There are a few different endings in The Prince’s Keeper, and this is a guide on how to get them! 

There are two different ‘Good’ endings, and one ‘Bad’ ending, and this guide will also cover how to romance Railan and include a guide for achievements.

Good Ending

To avoid getting the bad ending, specific choices must be made, along with a running tally of “Affection Points” to unlock special dialogue with Railan. The ones in bold are essential to getting the good ending. If you want to explore the bad ending, just choose any one of the other options.

There are two possible good endings, based on whether your character values freedom or duty, and encourages Railan one way or the other.

Freedom

1.   The good pay

2.   My work will speak for itself

3.   What happened to the Prince’s former servant?

4.   Refuse

5.   This is a mess

6.   Take time for myself

7.   Join the servants dancing

8.   We deserve better

9.   It’s from your sister

10.  You’ve never seen a book before?

11.               No you’re not!

12.               You could sound more enthusiastic

13.               Let’s get out of here!

14.               I have lots of friends

Duty

1.   The good work

2.   I’m diligent and a hard worker

3.   I’d be glad to accept the position

To successfully romance Railan, you must choose all of the choices that lead to a Good Ending, and all presented Flirt options, which are all labelled.

1.   Could you read to me?

2.   Is that a problem?

3.   You’re handsome when you smile

4.   Only a friend?

5.  Then where might you find love?

There are 7 Achievements to collect while playing the game.

Completing the Duty Ending

Completing the Freedom Ending

Completing a full run of the game

Successfully romance Railan

Completing the game with a befriended Railan (getting to the good ending but not flirting with him)

Getting fired from your job (which you get from completing the bad ending)

And choosing that you love Sweet Peas as your favourite flower when prompted
